About us

Amberley Medical Centre is situated in the heart of North Canterbury; the southern region of the Hurunui District and a 50 km drive from Christchurch Hospital. We are a rural service town with access to both coastal and inland areas and nestled on the edge of the Waipara Valley wine region.

You can find out more about our town at www.amberleynz.nz

Because of our rural location, we understand the need to offer much more than the usual level of medical care. We provide medical and emergency care for our patients and our community and we focus on providing a sustainable, accessible and integrated health service to help you maintain health, independence and wellness within your own community.

We are very proud of our highly qualified and dedicated team who are committed to providing the best service for you and our community. Most of our team live and work in our community and we all share our vision of equitable healthcare for rural communities. Amberley Medical Centre boasts a modern, comfortable fully equipped medical facility and we warmly welcome you, your family, friends and colleagues to our practice.
